CityBusiness names annual overall ‘Woman of the Year’ 2025

YouthForce NOLA co-founder and CEO Cate Swinburn has led the organization to support more than 10,000 New Orleans public school students through career training, soft skills development, and paid internships since 2015. Swinburn, recently named New Orleans CityBusiness’ 2025 “Woman of the Year,” emphasizes that while the organization’s impact is significant, there is still much more to do to ensure all students graduate prepared for meaningful futures. Her motivation is deeply personal, grounded in a belief in the American Dream and a desire to build a stronger, more equitable pathway from school to career for every young person in the city.
