Future Ready Fund
YouthForce NOLA has launched the Future Ready Fund to expand its summer internship program and assist schools and training providers in scaling their own year-round internship programs. The Fund ensures YouthForce NOLA can offer paid internships that cover stipends, supplies, transportation, career coaching, and best-in-class soft skills training. Importantly, the Future Ready Fund also removes barriers for youth from low-income communities to work with great local employers.
Future Ready Fund investment opportunities start at $3,250 and can be made in monthly installments.

Ten Years of Proven Successes
Since 2015, 1,869 public school students have completed internships, earning more than $3 million in paid stipends. More than 100 regional employers have hosted interns in the last two years alone.
YouthForce NOLA has also expanded work options for Louisiana youth by seeding apprenticeships, launching the New Orleans Career Center, and collaborating with the LA Department of Education to train educators who are starting internships in their own communities. The benefits for young people who have completed YouthForce NOLA’s Internship are impressive:
Higher Wages - Alumni make over $3.10 per hour more than their peers, about $6,500 annually.
Greater Mobility - Alumni earn an average of $4.29 per hour more now than in their first job.
Talent Retention - 75% of alumni remain in the Greater New Orleans area.
