Shout Out to Career Expo Students, Schools & Employers

More than 1,400 participants, representing 19 schools and two parishes, attended the March 18 YouthForce NOLA + Junior Achievement Virtual Career Expo, presented by Baptist Community Ministries (BCM). This collaborative effort to engage students in various high-paying, high demand careers is crucial to prepare them to  find a career aligned with their interests.

During the virtual expo, 45 employer partners and training providers participated in booths and/or panels, giving students an opportunity to connect with them, and to get an inside look at high-wage careers and how to pursue them.  Students used the vFairs platform to participate, and will have access to the platform until June 18, 2022 to view the archived booths and webinars.
